– The new Apple Farm Marketplace & Cellar will launch a cookie-cutter fundraiser during its "Sip & Graze" event on December 3 to help raise funds for SLO Food Bank. Various holiday cookie cutters will be sold at a price of $10 each during the holiday season, and the proceeds will be used in the children’s farmer’s market so that children can choose from a variety of fruits and vegetables to take home and share with their families. An anonymous donor will match up to $1,000 in the funds raised by the food bank, doubling the value of each gift. The "Cookie Cutter Christmas" tree will be located at the entrance of Monterey Street.

"In addition to the Cookie Cutter Christmas tree, we will also provide five other holiday decoration sets around the hotel, which are perfect for taking seasonal photos. The goal of the market is to integrate with local farmers, tell their stories, share their products, and encourage tourists to go out and see where these amazing people work. The wine cellar will be equipped with revolving doors, serving local drinks, from wine, beer, spirits, sodas to locally made ciders, botanicals and bartenders, and will share information about the manufacturers and where they can go to find out More information. Large wall charts of various farm trails, wine trails, cider trails and beer trails will cover the walls to remind guests to plan their itineraries.

To celebrate the opening, Apple Farm Inn Marketplace & Cellar will hold two sip & graze events on December 3rd and 17th. Guests will be able to meet the makers, enjoy local spirits paired with locally grown snacks, and stroll through holiday episodes in six different restaurants.
