American original equipment manufacturer (OEM), diversified mechanical system (DMS) and subsidiary Freedom Machine Tool announced the change of its machine lineup in Atlanta at booth 7953 at the International Woodworking Show held from August 20 to 23.
The live demonstration and machine exhibition will now show Freedom Machine Tool's Patriot 4×8 CNC router with lathe option, Patriot 5×10 CNC router, and DMS 5-axis mobile station CNC router. The initial press announcement equipped the machines as Freedom Machine Tool Patriot 4x4, Patriot 4x8 and Patriot 5x10.
Freedom Machine Tool will launch the Freedom Machine Tool Patriot 4x8 CNC router with lathe option, as a new product, to provide additional lathe functions for the woodworking industry. This machine includes all the same functions as the popular Patriot 4x8 CNC router, including packaging products that support lathe performance.
In addition to releasing new products, Freedom Machine Tool will also launch a new Freedom Machine Tool Patriot 5x10 CNC router with CE, CSA or ETL enhancements to improve workplace safety. These improvements include safety covers, safety mats (in front of the work area), single beam light curtains along each side of the long axis, and the machine will now have a CE, CSA or ETL safety standard rating.
Ed Hilligrass, Executive Vice President and Chief Security Officer of DMS, explained: “We are re-launching these products for the international woodworking community through these new standards to further expand these product lines to these markets.” “Patriot 4x8 with lathe options will be added. The differentiation of CNC routers into their own products consolidates the packaged products and creates clarity for woodworkers who need these functions."
Freedom Machine Tool will also launch their new website for the first time on FreedomCNC.com of the IWF in Atlanta.
