Felder Launches 33 Products at LIGNA, to Exhibit at WMS | Woodworking Network

HANNOVER, GERMANY – Felder Group of Tirol, Austria, unveiled 33 new or significantly updated machines at LIGNA 2013 held in Hannover, Germany in May.

Felder’s product launches included the FORMAT-4 profit H08 CNC machining center, its most compact nesting router to date and the FORMAT-4 profit H50, the company’s first 5-axis CNC router.

Felder also introduced several new edgebanders including the FORMAT-4 perfect edgebander and showcased Laser Edge, a compressed hot air unit installed on a FORMAT-4 perfect 710 edgebander. Hot air technology was touted by Felder and several other machinery manufacturers as lower-cost alternative to laser edgebanders for achieving seamless joints.

Other new Felder products include additions to its line of classic woodworking machinery.

Felder Contracts Space at WMS 2013 During LIGNA, Felder signed up to exhibit at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS), Oct. 24-26, 2013 in Toronto.

Andrew Gombaez, general manager of Felder Canada based in Mississauga, said the new H08 CNC nesting center will be among products on display at WMS.

Felder operates separate offices to service the United States and Canada. The U.S. office is based in New Castle, DE. Felder USA will exhibit at the AWFS Fair, July 24-27 in Las Vegas.

In addition, there are distinct websites for Felder’s Canadian branches: Felder-group.ca and Felderusa.com.
