Mehta Cad Cam Systems Private Limited has been serving the industry with its CO2 Laser, Fiber Laser, CNC Router, and Digital Printing for the last three decades. They are exhibiting their Fibre Laser Cleaning Machine and Fibre Laser Welding Machine at the AMTEX 2022 exhibition that will happen from the 22nd of July, 2022 to the 25th of July, 2022 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Established 30 years ago, Mehta Cad Cam Systems Private Limited is one of the oldest companies for some of the products that they manufacture. The company has products ranging from the following four vertical-CO2 Laser, Fibre Laser, Digital Printers, and CNC Routers. Amongst these verticals, we have a huge range of products. For instance, Fibre Laser, they have a fibre laser cutting machine, fibre laser marking machine, fibre laser welding machine, and fibre laser cleaning machine, with more subcategories within it.

While all these products are made in Ahmedabad, with four manufacturing plants present there, they also have 22 branches across India to provide local sales and service support with a powerful infrastructure and innovative background. They are participating in AMTEX 2022 exhibition to exhibit their Laser Cleaning and Welding machine.

“We love to race for new innovations, technologies, and their applications from our side. We introduced fibre laser machines for the first time ever in India and have endeavoured to create awareness. In recent years, the market has started to adopt the technology driving us to update our own products time and time again” said Shailesh Mehta, the Director of Mehta Private Limited in an exclusive interaction with Machine Maker.

He further added, “We will be bringing to AMTEX the fibre laser cleaning machine which is used to clean rust from metals. If you would ask, removing the rust from machines or metals is a headache and a challenging thing to do. However, this laser technology has made things easier, and simpler for the customers. Now, our company has diverted its focus to creating awareness about the fibre laser cleaning machine in all kinds of sectors. It is manufactured in India completely”

The Fiber Laser Welding Machine which is named the Fiber Laser Welding Gun has a fibre source of 750w-6000w. The welding gun in the machine comes with a wire feeding system. The Fiber Laser Cleaning Machine which has a rated power laser of 60 Watt is featured with an air-cooling system. Both these machines will be exhibited and the company will also provide live demonstrations of these machines in New Delhi. Additionally, Mehta India will display the Laser Cutting Machine which is used for applications in the Sheet Metal Industry and has a laser power of 6kW to 12kW.

When asked about the perks of exhibitions such as AMTEX, Mr Mehta put forth to us a detailed view of it. He explained how in events such as AMTEX, IMTEX, AMCEE, and others a large number of people visit resulting in the awareness of their machine. This then implies a boost in sales of their products. It is a platform where manufacturers and industrialists get the opportunity to display their new products, and innovations enabling kickstart for deals from the launch itself. Without such exhibitions, growth cannot be speeded and it is difficult to restore the market pre-pandemic while seeing the growing trends. Any company that wishes to step into the market, needs to make a capital and human investment to take benefit of such events.

“Indian manufacturing world is growing, hence creating opportunities for all of us. India is the only country, after China to manufacture machines with great quality but reasonable and affordable prices for the market. India is imparting its footprints in the world and has scope for growth. To be able to respond to the competition we sometimes have to compromise on profitability. But as India is growing now, we can see a change in this picture. We are optimistic and taking continuous efforts to find products for the Indian market that can be replaced with the machines and components of neighbouring countries,” said Shailesh Mehta while concluding the interaction.
