Man buys lunch for Londonderry detectives as act of thanks

A Londonderry man is thanking local police for giving a hoot.

They helped reunite him with his beloved owl wood carving after it was stolen from its perch on Stonehenge Road.

Police said they received tips from some super sleuths in the community and were able to track the carving down.

Lee Moulton created it in memory of his wife.

To show his gratitude, he dropped off lunch to the Londonderry detectives who helped him.
