The grand opening of HIGH POINT, North Carolina-The Generator at Congdon Yards, a facility that provides state-of-the-art technology for North Carolina startups, small companies and other large-scale woodworking manufacturers, will take place on October 10. 18-19.

The Generator was developed in cooperation with SCM North America. It covers an area of ​​more than 6,000 square feet and is equipped with 11 production machines donated by SCM, including two 5-axis CNC routers, a flat-panel router, panel saws, sliding table saws, edge banding machines, Drilling and pinning machines, box clamps, seaming machines, planers and wide belt sanders.

Another feature of The Generator is the Material ConneXion library, which contains more than 10,000 materials, including textiles and coatings, that designers, architects and woodworkers can use in one place.

The main participant in the development of The Generator is Justin Stabb, the owner of Stabb Designs, a construction wood products and case engineering company in North Carolina. In recognition of his achievements in the company, the community and on behalf of the entire industry, Stabb was recognized as the winner of the Wood Industry 40 Under 40 in 2021.
