Continuing to celebrate the "Maker" spirit, Snapmaker introduced a rotating module to upgrade its three-in-one maker machine. This module is specially designed for snapmaker 2.0 and its 3D printing, laser engraving and CNC milling functions. It can convert the equipment into a 4-axis rotating machine-capable of engraving, printing and engraving materials with a maximum length of more than 15 inches in a 360-degree manner . This module opens up a new dimension in the manufacturing process, providing a jump from plane milling to manufacturing incredibly detailed objects that exceed the quality of most 3D printing.

Snapmaker extends the functions of its already multifunctional maker machine through its rotating module. Added support for dozens of materials, including wood, tool boards, plastic, bamboo, leather, fabric, and opaque acrylic. The 3D printing function can now print on curved surfaces, while the laser etching/engraving head can laser engrave artwork on cylinders or curved surfaces. The rotating module uses strain wave transmission and is equipped with a 100:1 reducer, which can convert the power to a lower output speed. This allows the 3-jaw chuck to rotate at a minimum angle of 0.1°-capable of engraving and printing on uneven and irregular surfaces.

The speedy snapmaker 2.0 rotation module provides 360° continuous rotation with a maximum angular velocity of 45° per second. Combined with the precise control of 0.2, 1 and 5 degree rotation on the touch screen, the manufacturer can see the difference in each action. The module can even engrave hollow objects with uniquely shaped shells.
